Recovery Walk Scotland will be held in Glasgow this year on the 15th of September and for the first time will bring addiction recovery and mental wellbeing activists together to promote recovery!
We are looking for activists from both communities; addiction recovery and mental well being to join the host network to help us promote and organise this year’s walk in Glasgow.
Tasks that the host network will be involved in include:
- Promote the walk to both addiction recovery and mental health communities and services
- Recovery and Well being awareness campaign among elected representatives
- Organise a civic reception for Recovery walk Scotland in September
- Organise a Glasgow large gathering of activists from both communities in July.
Amongst lots of other things it’s about building a network of friends that believe in promoting recovery and well-being!!
Recovery Walk Scotland is now in its sixth year! This is an amazing opportunity for you to be involved in something really special so we would like to invite you or anyone you know with a passion for recovery to come along and get involved and help us to make this years Recovery Walk Scotland in Glasgow the biggest and best walk yet!!
