Since September 2025, VOX Scotland has been a member of Suicide Prevention Scotland’s Personalised Risk and Safety Management steering group. The group aims to make services safer, more person centred, and more inclusive for people affected by self-harm and suicide.
The steering group will support at least three Scottish health boards to develop and start improvement projects. These aim to bring local practice in line with the latest evidence on personalised risk (safety) management and family or carer involvement. VOX Scotland has helped to inform this work by contributing research and lived experience expertise.
The summary includes key points from our most recent work that inform personalised risk and safety management, and signposts related VOX publications.
